Emerging from the post-Summer lull, we welcomed our guests to gather around the captivating showcase, offering a tantalizing glimpse into the top lots slated for Sotheby’s Auction upcoming sales.
Stealing the spotlight in an elegant dance of anticipation was the mesmerizing masterpiece, “La Valse Hésitation,” a sublime creation by the iconic René Magritte. The piece, estimated between a staggering 10 and 15 million euros, is poised to grace the Modern Sale in Paris on the 19th of October, promising a momentous event for art connoisseurs.
The exhibition further delighted art enthusiasts with an exquisite array of works, including additional masterpieces by René Magritte, alongside unique pieces from acclaimed artists such as Fernand Khnopff, Joan Miró, Serge Poliakoff, Paul Delvaux, Zao Wou-Ki, Matsutani Takesada, and many more.
