To celebrate the launch of the book on the architect Leon Stynen, Sotheby's is delighted to invite you to a panel discussion on the architect's work on Wednesday 24 May.
Born in Antwerp in 1899, Leon Stynen was a leading figure in the modernist movement in Belgian architecture in the first half of the 20th century. With a career spanning more than four decades, he left an indelible mark on the Belgian urban landscape, designing everything from iconic buildings to furniture and even theatrical productions.
On Wednesday 24 May, Sotheby’s in Brussels hosted a panel discussion on the works of Leon Stynen, moderated by Iwan Strauven, with speakers Marc Dubois and Pablo Lhoas, followed by a cocktail reception. The event was held to mark the launch of the book “Architecte, Leon Stynen”, written by authors Tania Wolski and Luc Vincent and published by Snoeck.
