Who’s Afraid of Red Yellow and Black?
To mark the 50th anniversary of Sotheby's in Belgium, we are delighted to invite you to a festive cocktail on Wednesday 17 April to open the exhibition "Who's Afraid of Red, Yellow and Black?”.

« Inspired by Barnett Newman’s masterpiece (Who’s Afraid of Red, Yellow and Blue ?), and as a pretext for an essentially chromatic journey, we allowed ourselves to be guided in our choice of works by the three colors floating on the supple surface of the Belgian flag – black, yellow and red. This exhibition celebrates the fiftieth anniversary of the Brussels office of Sotheby’s by bringing together some of the great names in modern and contemporary art, from Belgium and beyond. ».

François de Coninck, curator.

The works will be sold directly and exhibited in the gallery until 17 May, open to the public Monday to Friday from 10am to 5pm.
