The Hôtel Danckaert is a geometric Art Nouveau masterpiece designed in 1922 by Jean-Baptiste Dewin, a master of Art Deco, at the request of industrialist Jean Danckaert. Listed in 2016, the property comprises a ± 510 m² house, a central garden with a rosary, and a garage, all reflecting the elegant architectural style of the inter-war period.

The hotel’s interior features ‘triplex’ wood panelling, inspired by American techniques, for a refined finish. The ground floor features a gallery area. Each room features quality materials such as sumptuous marble and colourful stained glass windows, creating a warm and bright atmosphere. The living room has large bay windows to ensure plenty of natural light, while the bow window creates a cosy and pleasant reading area. The eclectic garden is typical of the 1920s, with a rose garden, box trees, yews and an old cherry tree echoing the villa’s stained glass windows.
